guys get ready for the talent show!! auditions starting this friday at 1pm meet at the assembly hall!

The group is aimed at both introducing students to the world of audio-visual technology and broadening students pre-existing knowledge. It is open to anybody but might especially intrest anyonemotivated to pursue a career in the Audio-Visual Arts. There is often little or no opportunity to learn the basics of Film, Sound Engineering, Video journalism or Photography until third level.
This group offers students who are genuinely intrested with an outlet to explore media as a form of communication. If the idea grabs you, then watch out for announcements, keep an eyes on the Theatre Club notice board and if you ate simply curious then come along to the Theatre Club meeting on Mondays at 1.20pm in Room 94 and talk to Mr. Burke about it.

Anything creative is often very easy but requires practice and a platform for experimentation. It’s all about using you head, having a go and waiting to see what happens. It’s great fun too!

The 1st years parents night was on Thursday 22nd October! Well done to all who were involved, students and teachers, you were all fabulous! The night turned out great and everyone enjoyed themselves! Pictures of the night will be posted up soon so don’t forget to check them out in the gallery!

We are really looking forward to the Talent Show this year which will be held on Friday 4th of November. If you are interested in taking part, auditions will be held after midterm so get practising We look forward to seeing everyone try out!

Hi everyone! I’m Rachel Warren and I’m your Head Girl for this year. Firstly I’d just like to say a big welcome to all the new first years. I hope you’ve all settled in nicely. Well this year is going to be a fab year. We have lots of exciting and interesting things lined up! Already we’ve had the Fun Walk which was a blast. Everyone looked great! Well done to you all! Also the First Year social was a great success. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and don’t forget to check out the photos in the photo gallery! Also I’d like to say a big hello to all the Student Reps. Congrats on being elected! You guys should check out this website regularly for updates from the student council The Student Council notice board is also up and running. Everyone should pop over to have a look at it now and again just to see what the Student Council are up to! It’s located beside the door of the library, you can’t miss it! Well that’s it for now. Ms Punch and her 3A3 class are taking part in the “phones for boards” campaign run by the Jack and Jill charity. If they get 500 old moblies our school gets a prize of an interactive whiteboard!
They are asking all students to help out by bringing their old mobile phones into school. You can also ask your friends and family to contribute too, the more the better! To find out more information about this campaign and great charity visit the site
